I work with kids, some toddlers but mostly kids ages 3-6 with speech delays. Here are some of the better ones I have heard over the years:
"skanking" = skiing "diks" = discs (for the above two I had to stifle many a giggle) "Bwip-mee" = Brittany (my name) "Wah-mark" = Walmart "queet" = squish "special me" = especially "boopie" = belly "wamoom" = balloon "Tah-sih" = Thomas (from Thomas the Tank Engine) "(I think you know what goes here)" = fire truck "Life-a-queen" = Lightning McQueen (from the movie Cars)
(These are not things said by my toddler; these are by toddlers I know) Monopoly = ponopoly Work = walk Helicopter = hubbaleeda Lemonade = mennanade Funny = runny Spaghetti = pisghetti Rank = w*** (he couldn't say 'r' properly!) Club = crub Glove = glub Fly = thly Pond = bornd
The whore cut and snow soup and Mr and Mrs Robin Hood things are funny :P
