My girlfriend broke up with me a month ago and it's slowly taking a toll on me mentally. I would do anything to get her back. Anyways has anyone successfully hooked back up with their ex and how long did it take you to do so and how happy are y'all now? Bonus: Do you think writing a letter to my ex explaining how I realized my mistakes in the relationship and how much she means to me could  help me get her back? her reason for breaking up with me was because she didnt feel the same anymore after two years of being in a relationship . If not any advice you can give me? Thanks

I'm sorry to say that once two people break-up it's difficult to get back together and amend one's issues. You are in a spiral, and if you write her a letter you will be chasing her / appear needy and will further affirm her position. The best thing one can do is to meet other women and make yourself desired by other women. On one hand it will help you move past your old relationship; on the other by dropping her cold you'll up your chances by putting your life back into your control. If you're really, really, really keen on getting her back envy/jealousy is a difficult but usually the only route.
