Only time will tell how impotent he is with Putin. They seem to like to phone talk. I'd like to hear that conversation. Putin is boxing his self up as far as his economy is concerned. The Russian economy is shaky at best and sanctions will only make it worse and the people will rebel if it get real bad.

Because unlike Putin he is the president of a country where you can say what you want, and unlike Putin he does not have the power to run roughshod over anyone that disagrees with him!!!
The trouble with you dumb cons is that you only understand or respect someone when they are playing a harda$$, just like when you thought Bush was so great for blundering into Iraq and defending him with your piss poor excuses when it started going pear shaped!!!
Putin is actually making a rock for his own back, trying to claw back what Russia lost when the Soviet Union broke up at the cost of unrest in the world, which will and has created economic instability in his own country!
All Obama is doing is giving him as much rope as is needed to hang his ugly self, and at no cost (for once) to American lives! let the Europeans man up and take him on!!!
And top of all that, who the hell are we to criticize or whine about another country's actions in its own backyard, when we have have left a trail of mess in country's that most Americans couldn't even point out on a map!!!!!!!!!!!!

Putin will do what Putin wants to do, regardless of who is in the White House (just like he did was W. was living there.)

It comes from his false stance with Americans. If you recall, Obama ran for office in 2008 on the premise that we needed to get the troops out of the Middle East. While debating McCain, he said things like America having no business in foreign affairs, America needing to work on things here at home, how he would be bringing the troops home the first day he was in office. In the midst of his anti-war speeches, Obama complained to McCain, "The war is over. Why can't he (Bush) bring the troops home right now? Today?"
Obama talks a good game, but it when it came down to the reality of the situation, he needed a way to explain that he not only followed Bush's pull-out plan, he missed it by nearly two years and finally made permanent base in Iraq while committing our troops to Afghanistan indefinitely.
As Obama grew comfortable with being the wielder of American forces, he joined in the attack on Libya all by himself claiming that the War Powers Act was simply to protect Americans not keep the President from engaging in his own personal wars. He then proceeded to send 1400 drone strikes to Pakistan, and in his most ridiculous move, insisted that he needed to missile assault Syria without any kind of proof that Assad was using chemical weapons. Putin stood him off in front of the entire world.
Aside from the fact that Obama claims that those Middle Eastern countries he assaulted hate the American people over Christianity instead of disliking the one-man blind assaults on their people, which produced an estimated 600 women and children's deaths, Obama blatantly lies in accordance with his campaign speeches ~ claiming to have ended Bush's wars in the region.
Obama looks like a fool to Putin, and Obama has no real military mind. Obama is like a spoiled child throwing superior weapons at small war torn countries. Putin knows that a confrontation with Russia would be much different than Obama's little skirmishes with second world nations. Russia may, in fact, come here for the fight.
So what is Mr. Golden-Boy-Health-Plan going to do about Putin? He's busy covering up a ton of lies. What happened to his original stance against American intervention in "other people's wars"? When is Obama going to bring the troops home? Who's paying for these wars anyway?
If you ask the average Liberal, they will say something to the effect of, "Isn't that what you guys wanted?" and ignore the plain facts. Sadly, that doesn't make Obama look any better to Putin and the rest of the world. Even our Allies are having a hard time with the way that Obama is addressing the situation. He's no American leader.
