In view of the revelations in the press about paedophiles, will we eventually accept that this is normal?

Sixty years ago when I was aged fifteen I found out that some boys preferred boys. I was innocent and I did not know what they did. Much later, I found out that there were girls who were lesbians. In those days they were all called “ queers”.

Queers were not acceptable, now we know that people are different and we refer to them as GAYS.

Those who have been exposed as paedophiles are men who are in the public eye, consequently their victims can identify them. How many men, who are not in the public eye, have sex with little girls and boys?

Will  we eventually accept that this is also normal????

Two consenting adults who love each other is not the same as a man raping a child.
The child is too young to give consent and has no notion of why the person is doing what he is doing to him/her.
So no, pedophilia is not and will never be 'normal'.

Adults who are sexually attracted to children of a certain age are NOT normal. Adults who have sex with underage teens are predators call them sharks.

Children being attracted to children is "normal" even homoxexual attraction.  Maybe some day in the future our society will be so devolved that protecting children isd NOT a priority, but that day is not here yet.

The difference is Consenting Adults.  Considering homosexuals only account for a very minor percentage of the population, I'm not sure it can be considered "normal", per se.  The point is, we've evolved as a society to accept the fact that what other people do with their own lives should be up to them, you nor I have no right to control them.  I'm sure even you could find the difference between protecting children and allowing adults to choose their own actions.  One violates the rights of others, the other violates the rights of no one

Those who have been victimized by pedophiles will have a hard time accepting them as normal.
If they are ever accepted as normal, then the necrophiliacs will want to be accepted.
