In view of the revelations in the press about paedophiles, will we eventually accept that this is normal?

Two consenting adults who love each other is not the same as a man raping a child.

The child is too young to give consent and has no notion of why the person is doing what he is doing to him/her.

So no, pedophilia is not and will never be 'normal'.

Adults who are sexually attracted to children of a certain age are NOT normal. Adults who have sex with underage teens are predators call them sharks.

Children being attracted to children is "normal" even homoxexual attraction. Maybe some day in the future our society will be so devolved that protecting children isd NOT a priority, but that day is not here yet.

The difference is Consenting Adults. Considering homosexuals only account for a very minor percentage of the population, I'm not sure it can be considered "normal", per se. The point is, we've evolved as a society to accept the fact that what other people do with their own lives should be up to them, you nor I have no right to control them. I'm sure even you could find the difference between protecting children and allowing adults to choose their own actions. One violates the rights of others, the other violates the rights of no one

I hope not. I have no problem with gay rights or marriage, but it constantly being shoved down our throats, and if you have a problem with, then you must be homophobic. Now, you have the transgender coming out complaining if you call them a man or boy. You have schools in California allowing transgender students to go in the bathroom with the opposite sex. Many little girls and their parents are protesting and feel uncomfortable with someone having a penis come into the bathroom with them. The state is ignoring these complaints. We are becoming detached with watching graphic videos. There was a video of a woman being beheaded by the Mexican Cartel and people did not blank an eye. Paul Walker died and people were putting pictures of his dead body online and one person tried to steal a part of the burning car. You see Tyrese on television crying about the lost of his best friend and spectators are snapping pictures. Whitney Houston died in a hotel room and was there was hours. They still had a Grammy party with her dead body in a hotel room. Tyler Perry had to sneak her body out of the hotel room and fly her out on a private helicopter for a body to get the proper respect. It is possible but I know not. I look at Woody Allen being accused her raping his daughter and people turn a blind eye because he is a famous director. Bryan Singer, the director of the X Men movies is being accused of molesting underage boys. Corey Feldman wrote a book on the phedophilia in Hollwood and people accused him of lying or exploiting Corey Haim. Nobody is doing anything about the Catholic Church sex scandals. Everyone just make fun of it but the church remains untouchable. We're becoming a society I don't get anymore.
