Is this double major worth it?

Question

I want to double major in an environmental science (either ecology/marine biology or water science) with political science (or maybe international relations. Subject to change)

So, Environmental Science/Political Science Double major.

I still have a year of high school left, but I was hoping for some advice.

If I want to possibly become an environmental advocate, possibly pursuing Law School in the distant future, does this double major make sense? Is it worth it? Or am I overworking myself for nothing?

All answers are welcome and appreciated. (Brutally honest are preferred)

You do not need to double major. Once you are accepted into college, talk with an advisor on that campus. You would need to make sure you cover your pre-law prerequisites as well as what you need for your primary major. It may be relatively easy to add a minor in Political Science or even double major. However at some universities it will be nearly impossible to get all the necessary classes in four years, so you would have to go to summer school and/or stay another year to complete the double.

While a double is impressive, if you want to get into law school, you need to get good grades in all your classes and allocate time to study for LSAT too. Also know that you can start out with the goal of a double change your mind if classes are too much or don't fall into place.

Double major will worth it and you may better get reference from your lecturer too.
