What kind of warts are these and HOW do I get rid of them?

I have a cluster under each of my thumb finger nails, those came up last year and are just getting bigger. And the first one I got is on the side of my thumb, about 1.5x the size of a pencil eraser. I've had it for 8 years now. The biggest and oldest one is circular and raised and rough looking with about 6-7 visible black dots and the one under the nail on the same thumb looks like 3 small ones grouped together. The under the nail ones are painful. I went to my general dr who said they'd have to refer me to a specialist that would take my government healthcare and the closest one is 2 hours away and won't see me until next month. My general practitioner wouldn't even look at them. I've tried duck tape, garlic, general vitamins to boost my immune system, freezing kits from the store, Salicylic acid and everything I could find on the Internet. They are painful, and gross to look at. Please give me some clue as to what to do here.

No idea what kind it is. You can soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar then put it over the warts with a band aid and sleep with it on. If you do this at night every day for a couple weeks it will be gone. It's important to keep treating it with apple cider vinegar for an extra week after it has disappeared to be sure it won't grow back. You could go to the doctor and have them remove it with a laser but that's much more expensive and there are no guarantees that it'll work. The A.C.V. treatment will be a little painful (and smelly) but it will get rid of them if applied every night for a few weeks.

3 Verrucae or more and you may be looking at increased susceptibility to HPV, and you must, male or female, have the Cervical Cancer Jab. This decreases your chances of catching via HPV/warts, cervical or penile cancer.
Multiple warts/verrucae are called mosaic Verrucae. It is best treated by dry-needling which alerts your immune system to the fact they are on your skin. HPV is able to hide from your immune system.
You can get 'dry needled' at any school of podiatry or specialist podiatrists. The best in the UK is Belinda Longhurst of Wicanchester podiatry or Kevin Kirby in the US. Chemical burning is not effective with mosaic verrucae. It needs to be cut and needled, and must bleed to be successful. It is usually doncae with lots of local Anaesthetic. So it is not painful at the time, but hurts later, and it is a good idea to have a day off with feet up. Buy all new socks and wash your shoes out with white vinegar or Canestan hygiene rinse. HOT wash all bed linen and mats, and bleach wash floors. Beware carpets. They harbour spores. This is infectious, but your immune system must be suspect if you have more then a couple.
