i was wondering; in the season of korra; when the swamp was being cut down; where were the swamp benders to defend the swamp?

Possibilities , maybe Toph scared them off, they became civilized, Kuvira enslaved or fought them off, or they couldn't handle the spirits and fled. I can't believe I didn't think of this before . But yeah I mean like she said, Kuvira gets what Kuvira wants. She probably fought them off(or at least made her army do it for her )....Show more
