Send high school transcripts for a college transfer?

I plan on applying to transfer for rutgers university for fall 2015, and currently have 19 college credits completed after my first semester in college. But they still require me to send my high school transcripts for admission consideration. I have an unofficial copy of my transcript, can I photocopy and send that? Or do I have to get official copy? If so how do I go about it?

You must send the official transcript. Best to have your HS send it via Internet or get a sealed transcript from your HS and mail it yourself.
First call your HS and ask the procedure
