How do single people survive Valentine's day?

Especially those who like someone who chose someone else instead and now have to watch all that?

I chose to completely ignore valentines day, no matter the situation. Its completely unneccesaay grief and a cheesy holiday. True romance isnt covered in pink colored chocolate and ugly teddy bears and true heart break isn't caused my red balloons and watching silly couples thinking its love after two weeks

I felt the exact same way on New Year's. I totally started to cry, after seeing all of the happy couple photos all over social networking that night. It is what it is. If you go into the day with a happy attitude the day will be that much better. Remember, being envious and bitter of other's people happiness is silly, because you never know when it will be your turn for romantic happiness. Have a great meal, hang out with single friends, binge watch movies and the day will be over before you know it!

It can't be that hard. Valentines day is not that special at all to some people. It's not that special to me either and I do have some I love.

Enjoying our other relationships, like friends or mum.
I LOVE my mum so much... I don't have a dad but my mum means everything. And my pets. I know people think it's sad that I'm a crazy cat lady but cats are so sweet and they don't give u any lip because best of all, they don't talk.

Oh that and watching my married friends fight. Ha ha.

They'll probably take advantage of all the valentine sales going on (at least that's what I do lol) Or sit back and watch tv.
