david
18+16 = 34
34 X (45/60)
= 34 X (3/4)
= 51/2 = 25.5 km
if you want cm multiply by 100000
?
Do 18 times 45/60 , because if they are only 45 out and they go that far in an hour you have to do fracctions, then do the same for 16 then add them
Bill
Since they are going in opposite directions, their speed relative to each other is 34 km/h.
?
(18km/hr + 16km/hr) x (45min / 60 min/hr) / 1000m/km / 100cm/m = cm
