Differentitate implicitly to find dy / dx. Then find the slope of the curve at the given point. y^2-2x^3=9 (2,-5)?

Elizabeth M

d(y²)/dx = (d(y²)/dy)(dy/dx)
=2ydy/dx
So 2ydy/dx - 6x²=0 and
dy/dx=3x/y =-6/5 at (2,-5)

Bryan

Thank you very much, I completely understand it now
