Should I talk to him about it?

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. However, I am on birth control and have been for about a year. Normally we would use a condom, but we decided that we wanted to try it without one since we knew birth control was 99% effective. However, and I know I am paranoid, there's still that 1% chance of becoming pregnant. Neither of us are ready for a baby right now. Should I talk to him about the options we have and what we would do if I did end up pregnant, or should I just not? Thank you in advance.

Honestly, you're not that unprotected if you've been on the pill for a year already. But yes, do talk with your boyfriend. If you're mature enough to sleep together then you two should be mature enough to talk about the possibility of becoming parents IF something goes wrong.

Please calm down. Take a plan B pill. They sell them at the drug store and cost about $50 for one pill. $50 is better than thousands spent on a baby. Trust me, babies are expensive. Next time, use a condom.

of course you should. you don't want him to chicken out when its too late. its always good to discuss this so you should know for the future what your options are.

Do not think about it. The chance is not 99% but 99.9%.
