Are people who study at Oxford University (UK) rich?
Someone I know told me that she has paid about 50k for her master deegre in MBA for only a year. I didn't have the courage to ask if she was from a rich family, but let's be honest here, I cannot afford that amont of money for a master deegre, so my question is: Are people who study at Oxford University rich?

The vast majority of students at Oxford (and Cambridge) are from the UK and EU, which means that they pay the same fees as for pretty much any other UK university. These fees are capped by the gov't, and are nowhere near the 'market value' of these top universities, nor are they anywhere near what international (non-EU) students would pay. UK students also automatically qualify for financial support which covers the tuition fees and at least some of the living costs. And those coming from low-income backgrounds qualify for additional grants and possibly scholarships etc. (Most EU countries have similar funding mechanisms in place.) So for UK/EU students money isn't an issue going to Oxford, or at least no more than going to any other university. Therefore they don't need to be rich to do so. For international students it's quite a different proposition, however.
Many students qualify for financial aid which is one of the things that helps them pay for college. Very rarely does a student have to pay a college's "sticker price."
Scholarships also help pay for college. You can find many scholarships to apply to at Collegeboard.org.
