What is your stance on line cutting?

I take a class at the gym a few times a week and one day a week there is a teacher who teaches it that everyone loves. Well for the past 2 months this same girl has been getting there late and cutting the line to get in. Numerous people have told her to stop but she keeps doing it.

Its a line for Zumba fitness, A small group of 5 of us get there 30min before class and form a line about 20-25min before class. She shows up about 2min before they open the door to let us in and stands right at the door not even in line always cutting in front of me and others. Old manager didn't allow it. We get there early so we can stand in the front row of class and she thinks she can just stand at the door 2min before class and cut us and try to take the spots we get there early for.

New manager doesn't care and doesn't even know anything about the classes that are held.

Wait! So everyone hates that she's cutting the line but how is it that she's able to do it then?

Before class, or around the water bubbler, suggest that when she comes in, NO ONE under and circumstances allow her to do it.

She keeps doing it because she can.

You sort of left off the only thing that matters. Is there some kind of advantage in being one of the first to go in? If so, then I don't get why the rest of you don't form a circle around her and start walking her towards the back. That would be pretty intimidating, and if you're standing there for 30 minutes with nothing to do, it seems you could plan this out.

But if there's no advantage in being among the first, she's still kind of rude but in that case, I don't get why the rest of you arrive 30 minutes early and stand in line when you don't gain anything by doing this.

Two or three of you can get together, and frog-march her to the back of the line, explaining in words of one syllable that what she's been doing is rude, and won't be tolerated any longer. She can arrive early like the rest of the people who want a certain spot, and wait in line like they do.

I'd like to see her try that with the customers waiting behind the golden rope at a five-star restaurant -- or even with a bunch of mommies and toddlers who've been waiting in line to see Santa Claus ...

No one is unable to attend the class because of her behavior, is that correct? It is just about getting in the front row? And no one involved is under the age of 12, correct? I ask because the last time I cared enough about being in the front row that I wasted a minute, let alone 20-25 minutes standing around like an idiot was when I was 11. You are going to put the instructor in a very awkward position by asking her to play school yard monitor for a bunch of grown a$$ adults.
