I need to find the Shortest Flight possible?

I am trying to meet my friend, who lives in Chennai India. Her US Visa failed, so I am meeting her in Jamaica. I was wondering if anybody can tell me the shortest flight possible from India to Jamaica? The layover flights must be at airports that don't require you to have a visa so she can land and continue her travel without any issue. I would prefer she does not land in any middle eastern country, because she is a girl and traveling alone. So for safety reasons, no layover flights in the middle east either. Can anybody help me to determine which route I am looking for?

Um, she was denied a US visa for a reason. I'm pretty sure if the US denied her the visa, Jamaica will too.
