Red Hair dye question?

So I have really black hair and I dyed mines red so you could barely see the red but after dying it I heard your not supposed to shampoo for 2-3 days?
It been two days now so should I just shampoo like normal? Do I need to use conditioner?
But more importantly is the red going to disappear fast? I've heard it will turn orange but I'm fine with that as long as there's color in it.

I've never heard that you're not supposed to wash after dyeing and I've been dyeing my hair for 10 years. Dye will always fade a certain amount, especially if it's on unbleached black hair. It depends on the hair.

use colour safe shampoo and no conditioner. Red fades very quickly

Get color treatment shampoo. It's for dyed hair so the color last longer.
