Why do so many people think it's okay to pay their nannies off the books?

Are you saying that if you want to hire help, you have to be willing to take on the responsibility of Tax Collector for the Government? If that's the case, perhaps the IRS could get by with a Few Thousand less employees?

Or are you saying that workers can't be trusted to pay their own taxes?
Because EVERYONE, will avoid paying taxes if they possibly can? Even Poor People?

People pay nannies off the books because then they don't have to pay employer tax. Which is illegal. The reason people get mad about welfare scammers instead of tax cheats is because 'the people' who speak the loudest are Republicans. Republicans consist primarily of greedy extreme capitalists who group together for protection against paying any taxes whatsoever. And, because they control Congress, they ensure policies which protect them further, while resenting the little money going to women with children living in poverty. taxes are unconstitutional. We did not have a federal income tax until 1913. Where in the constitution dos it say we need to pay income tax? I voted Ron Paul i 2012 partly because he was going to end taxation...Show more
