Orange juice and medicine?

So, I read using orange juice to take medicine is a bad idea because of the acid. I agree with that, but if you take medicine with water, then drink some orange juice right wouldn t that still affect the absorption of the medicine?

There are SOME medicine that are affected by orange juice.
Probably not as many as you think, but still.
One person who knows, is your pharmacist.

Grapefruit juice is far more interactive. For example, small quantities of grapefruit juice (or grapefruit itself) will interfere with any statin-based medicine (for cholesterol).

While orange juice is acidic, the acids in it are different from your stomach acids so it's unlikely it'll have much of an effect. If you're still worried then just don't drink the orange juice at all.
