I'm thinking in words right now as I ask this question, so is that information lost after I finish typing?

Unbelievable, been here for ages, always saw your answers/posts around, you were very witty, sad to see you go, thought it would be a joke but no, RIP dude <3

And just to answer your question, I'd say no, same as books, and in this digital age, we're all just part of it, writing our stories in a digital diary, leaving our digital footprint for someone else to see, enjoy.

Pocket Protecktor, you were such an amazing, clever, funny and intelligent person I always looked up to and I still do. As to answer your question, I don't know, it goes over my head, that's how clever you were. Your memory will live on as people stumble across your answers and questions and smile or chuckle and you will still continue helping people.

No... it is there on the screen !
Jesting apart, seriously speaking, I think you bring up a very important point through this question.... when we think in terms of words rather than the idea, the thinking does get a bit squeezed and yet loosely knit and moreover, the context of the idea may get lost in which case the words that one thought would become stand alone and thus not meaningful enough to remain registered in the mind.

If you retrieve a memory of a sentence, you will find that the concept, which is visual, is what helps you recall in the first place. You cannot think purely in words. Without a visualization of some kind, they are utterly meaningless.
