Why does he want to give the minimum raise when he gave big raises to his friends?

Our vice president is leaving. He is fighting with my supervisor and does retaliation things to my supervisor.
He gave a.5 percent raise for my sup. My sup is angry.
This vp gave me a.3.percent raise which is the minimum.
This vp gave his friends like a.20 percent raise.

The president of our company does not like the vp.

Why does he want to give the minimum but turns around and give high raises to his friends?

VP's can't give raises w/o at least the president's tacit approval, or the approval of a finance person like a CFO. That means these raises were not issued in a vacuum, but rather w/ the knowledge of the company. Therefore, sorry about your luck, but your stuck w/ your 3%. Maybe you ought to figure out what the 20%'ers are doing and emulate them.

Do you know basic math?
.5 is 1/2 a percent.
.3 is 3/10 a percent
.2 is 1/5 a percent

.2% is the SMALLEST amount in the least!

Now, I know you meant 5%, 3% and 20%, but I think you should jump for joy! Since you don't know the difference between .2% and 20%, you are really lucky to have a job.

How do you know how much everyone's raises are, that shouldn't be public knowledge.
