Leaving class 10 minutes early? Is it okay in college?

I have a speech directly after one of my classes and I'm always like a minute late to that class. My group is going first for the speech so I want to get there on time or even a few minutes early. Would it be okay for me to leave class 10 minutes early? It's a big lecture hall (300 people) btw.

Do let your teacher know. But it is a pretty good reason to leave early, so you shouldn't worry.

I would let your teacher know before hand, that is just respectful to do.
Sit in back, leave quietly as possible.
