what is a good amount of money to start investing?

I d like to make some serious bank with invest ( of course starting small using the profits to reinvest.) eventually get some property and other assets to generate income. wheres a good place to start? I m new to the game of investing.

it's not a game. Start by learning what everybody thinks investing is.

Then....understand that poor people don't know what investing is - so the vast majority of what you read is WRONG.

$5000 if you can afford to lose it, and buy good quality stock which pay a dividend that increases annually
