Is my mom considered a spouse for financial assistance?

Please help me! I'm filling out an application for financial assistance. I live with my mom and have no income. My mom provides me with the necessary needs as I am disabled. So we've come across a part in the application where it says, Proof of all income received for the current month and two months prior to the submission of the application for the applicant and their spouse. Does spouse mean my mom, too? I'm confused as to what we should do. Give your best answers, please!!!

no a spouse is husband/wife not a parent, so not that section. but if you are working on the fasfa or any government aid there is a section where you put your parents income. hopefully this helps!

no, don't put that because they would think you are married to her and if for some reason they check for a marriage license and see that none exist, you can get in rejected. just put the income and send the proof. leave spouse empty.
