I have been suffering with this folitis for about 3 weeks now, went to my dr and he gave me an ointment to apply 3-4 times a day...which I have done.
Now I have it on my back and knees and it's driving me crazy!

Folliculitis? You could try applying coconut oil several times a day. It has antibacterial properties and is soothing.
