Do you think that the notion of statutory rape should be discarded or, at least, revised?
Just sick of seeing people on sex offender registries for consensual sex.

When I say consensual, I am not talking about any man-made laws that eradicate the notion of consent, based on age. I am talking about actual consent, given by the individuals involved.

Also, I'm not discussing pedophilia, here -- that's an entirely separate issue and people who have sex with pre-pubescent children are prosecuted under different laws -- not statutory rape laws.

I'm against fully grown old adults having sex with minors. However, I do feel that consent should be defined more stringently. Forcing or seducing for sex is wrong, but yelling no halfway through sex you have willfully agreed to just a minute back cant be classified as statutory rape, because its the responsibility of those involved to assess the risks before agreeing intimacy. People still need to have a sense of responsibility, the government cant be your brain and pass down laws for every little thing. Spend time enforcing primary laws that exist in the books, and revise those which are ambiguous.
Clearly you have not been a victim, and do not understand the situation. the Romeo and Juliet laws are clearing up the problem of kids landing on the sex offender registry, and anyone else is wrong if they qualify still.
Sorry if that cramps your style, but kids need to be protected from predators.
It has been revised recently, via Romeo and Juliet laws. Making it OK for 30 year old dudes to prey on 15 year old girls is a bad idea. Those guys DESERVE to be on sex offender lists.
