So yesterday, my girlfriends ex began texting her about how he's better than me and would treat her better than before. Problem is, she says its not the first time he's messaged this and its beginning to stress her out. She tells me to leave it alone, as my involvement would just further the issue. What should I do?

This may not be the answer for your scenario, but I found myself in that situation and here's how it turned out: I said she should just block the number and be done with it, since it's unwanted harrassment. She blocked it, then unblocked it. I found that she actually did want to be in contact, and that was a problem. Hope it's not so for you, because that was near the end. Good luck in any case

IF she REALLY WANT him to stop texting, she could have blocked her phone, the fact that EX still can text her, anytime he wants, SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT HER.
I'd just dump her, and find someone who doesn't have A PAST.

But, do not fight with her ex.
