TRINITARIANS: If Jesus is God kindly explain Rev. 3:11-12?
Rev. 3:11-12 (KJV) 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Quote:
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
Jesus said what He said because Him and God are one and the same otherwise how do you explain this (Jesus' words): Rev 21:7 The one who is victorious will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
Explanation: logically the passage is irrelevant to the matter of Jesus' divinity. Logically, one *cannot* conclude from that passage that Jesus is not God...or that Jesus is God. Anyone who concludes either of those things **from that passage** has employed a logical non sequitur. In common parlance we would say, "That person has jumped to a conclusion not warranted by that evidence."
