Should I mention on my college admissions personal essay for aerospace engineering that i own a tech facebook page that posts new tech?

If it has subscribers to where I post the latest and coolest technology articles/videos, somewhat like a magazine? Thank you!

If it has at least 1,000 subscribers, then sure, mention it. If it's part of a larger project, like maybe you made this page to advertise a project where you built something, then list it as part of that larger project. If this is a passion project that you spend a lot of time on and you're really passionate about engineering outreach, then mention it briefly.

Otherwise, leave it out. It's great that you're interested in sharing tech with others, but an admissions committee probably won't be all that impressed by the fact that you made a facebook page (unless it's part of some larger project). This is one of those things you might talk about when asked, "What do you do in your free time?" during an interview. You should save your application essay for things like career goals (and why you're interested in that career path), what you plan to do in college to help you achieve those goals, and how you shaped your high school experience to fit into all that.

So, like I said earlier, if this page that you run is followed by a lot of people, or if it really is your passion project, then go ahead and mention it. If you did any actual engineering projects (i.e. designing and building something), you should spend more time talking about those.

I hope this helps! Good luck!
