Why has it become a sin to be white?

I don't think skin color should be a factor in how we view people. It should be by their actions and how they carry themselves.

But why does being white totally discredit your opinion on any controversial matter nowadays? It really makes no sense that any white person who disagrees with a "liberal" idea gets deemed a racist immediately. Where is the logic in that?

Generally, White people seem to have the advantages, but it's simply not the case when you examine all the poor whites. White people make up a huge majority, and the minorities have less as a percentage. They assume you are wealthy and privileged which isn't really fair. My wife is black, grew up poor, but has made an amazing life for herself because her family is strong and supportive. She has always been a top student and now owns 2 successful businesses that she built from scratch. Hard work. Shows you how anyone can succeed here. People want to generalize, though, and not treat every person or situation individually. That is the problem in today's instant info world.

because the straight white male dominated patriarchy system is out to get any one who doesn't fit that criteria. They are opressed just by being those things. We simply wouldn't understand what it's like the be a 5 year old trapped in an adults body.

You are delusional. There is no such social sin. The sin lies in being white and denying that racism exists.

I don't think people discount your opinion because you're white, it think it may be more to do with you being delusional.
