I'm sure Trump does remember this, that's why's he's cried and whined about it on Twitter that not he get less overall votes which means most of the country doesn't like him. That's devastating to someone with an ego like Trump even though Trump won the electoral college that he criticized as being a "disaster" (the irony). So Trump most likely will remember it.

Trump won the only thing that matters - the Electoral Vote. Just because Hillary overwhelmingly won the California popular means nothing (other than she took the 55 electoral votes). That's it. The mandate comes from the 304 Electoral Votes and the massive number of states that rejected Hillary. Get over it, there is another election in four years.

Trump won the Electoral Vote but Democrats won the popular mandate of the people. Would Trump be wise to remember this?
NOT, Hillary Loser > ur a LIAR & don't matter !

Yes. His electoral chances in 2020 could very well depend on it. Trump actually got less of the vote than Mitt Romney did. He won because Clinton did significantly worse than Obama in several states. Trump can't count on that to happen again. To be re-elected he needs to expand his appeal. So far he doesn't seem interested in doing that though.

The popular vote is not a mandate. It goes by each state and California is still counting its votes. Trump received a mandate to do certain things by those who voted for him. Hillary did not win because of any mandate. She and Bill were clever about their propaganda against Donald.
