I honestly don't have a lot of anime merch. The most expensive anime merch I've ever bought was probably a shirt or something for $30 or so. The most expensive anime merch I own is a figure of Anastasia from The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls, which was a gift. I'm not exactly sure how expensive it was, but with shipping and everything from Japan I think it was around $50.

The most expensive purchase I've ever made online was last summer during Comiket. I collect Japanese doujin CDs and ordered 30 from the last event, which cost me ¥63,577, or $568 at the time (would actually be around $30 cheaper now since the Yen is struggling). This is not anime merch, but still falls under the category of Japanese pop culture goods, so I figured it was worth mentioning.
