Sort of. The problems the UK is having with many Muslims is the result of years of misguided embracing of Multiculturalism by its membership in the EU instead of allowing for a melting pot model of immigration. Member countries lost control over immigrants they let in. This naive handling of immigration was the last straw that caused the Brexit.
With America and Mexicans, more accurately any illegal aliens entering the country over the Southern border with Mexico, it's simply illegal immigration itself that is the problem. There are any number of Mexicans that enter the country legally, which few have any problem with. Illegal immigration however, by-passes attempts by the government to practice the melting pot model of immigration.
