I would dare say that the U.S. problem with illegal immigrants is probably worse, given the fact that the U.S. is a huge country and there hardly is even a small, isolated town where illegal immigrants are not living.

I have just read this news and, first of all it baffles me that the Republican governor (since Republicans supposedly are "against" illegal immigration), would want more personnel at the airport so thousands of people coming from Brazil (by the way it is Obama who is proponing or has established a law already for these people to remain in the U.S. for 90 days without much paperwork), can come in as "tourists".

There is no such thing as "tourist visas" used for that purpose, all the poor and low to middle class people coming from Latin America are staying in the U.S. No one is going back to their contry.
