A male minor has sex with an adult woman ( say his teacher ) and gets her pregnant ...Is he 'on the hook' for child support?

Apparently, in Kansas the courts ruled the statutory rape irrelevant and the child support is owed to the child of the rape. So men, you're screwed no matter what.

It depends on his age and maturity and he circumstances. A judge could order that he knew what he was doing and although technically, he was raped, if, for example, he was 16 or 17 and came on to the woman and it only happened once, a judge might order him to pay it. On the other hand, for example, if an 11 or 13 year old boy was manipulated and similarly raped, a judge might not. The judge would more likely be inclined to remove the child from the care of the unfit rapist of a mother.

The woman goes to prison.

The baby goes to foster care.

The boy turns 17, the foster care system can get child support from the father of the child has not been adopted.
