Should we be concerned about Freedom of the Press?

Were Scaramuccia not such a political and intellectual lightweight (well and truly living up to his namesake, the boastful clown of Italian theatre) his threat to use the Justice Department to harass a reporter for legally publishing publicly available material would surely be considered one of the greatest attacks on the first Amendment to ever come from the White House?

Well Mjolnir gets the points for being the first on the alt right to actually admit they have such contempt for the constitution that giving a damn about the bill of rights is "being a drama queen"

Such a drama queen.

I don't recall you being concerned about freedom of the press when Obama was secretly having them wire-tapped.

I don't recall left-whiners being concerned about freedom of the press when Bill Clinton tried to blame the Oklahoma City bombing on conservative talk radio.

I don't recall any left-whine concerns about how the "fairness doctrine" silenced political viewpoints that were contrary to what the liberal national media spun.

So forgive me if I don't care about your imaginary bogeymen - you haven't earned any trust or credulity from me.
