Give the slope of any line that is perpendicular to the graph of y = 1/3x+2 I keep getting 3/1?

You forgot to take the negative.
The negative reciprocal of 1/3 is -3.

Should , I assume, be shown as :-
y = (1/3) x + 2
m1 = 1/3
m2 = - 3

The slope of perpendicular lines are the negative reciprocals of each other. The slope you want is
.. -1/(1/3) = -3/1 = -3
