Clinton and the DNC - an also Obama's PAC - were careful to launder the money through a law firm so they could claim attorney/client privilege about what exactly who got the money.

They were originally hired by the conservative owner of the Washington Free Beacon. This was during the primary. When it became clear that Trump would win, they dropped their funding of the project. Fusion GPS then stopped it to the Democrats and got some funding from the DNC and the Clinton campaign

If any lawmaker connected to Fusion GPS behaved improperly they should be held accountable.

That's the difference between the left and right. Liberals support efforts to clean up government regardless of political affiliation while conservatives put party before morality.

Actually it was a conservative group that first paid Fusion GPS. It was only later that the DNC took over. And Hillary Clinton herself paid them nothing.
