Right decision to leave UNHRC?

The United States has announced its exit from the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The United States has declared the allegation of "political bias" against the United Nations' top human rights organization. Human rights organizations and world leaders have strongly criticized this decision. Al Jazeera reported on
It is said that US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Hally told the UNHRC decision to leave the US on Tuesday. This is the first such incident in the 12-year history of the organization.
In a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Mike Pompey, he said, "We are taking this step, because our commitment does not allow us to have such a bogus and selfish organization." During this time, he said that the UNHRC is mocking human rights.

Yes, they tried to change it from within for over a year but they would not listen. Many countries in the Council will privately support the US but will not rock the boat.

The Council is providing legitimacy to countries that have poor human rights records and those countries are using their position on the council to prevent any investigations being made. Suspect countries include: Democratic Republic of Congo, Venezuela, China and Saudi Arabia.

GREAT decision! We should dump the UN altogether. They have 47 different terrorist connected groups making policy in the UN and they get 1/3 of their money from the USA.

Good for the US, we have our own human rights laws, why would we need foreign dictation.

It's pretty clear to everyone in the international community that the only reason the US pulled out is because they have been criticized many times for supporting Israel's incessant and flagrant human rights violations. The US did not leave because the UNHRC is inefficient. They left because they are not in favor of preserving human rights.
