From the Bible's point of view, it is very simple. God calls people to repent and turn from their sins and to be separate from the "way of the world". The path that the Bible specifies is that of believing on Jesus as Lord and Savior (John 3:16-18; John 14:6; Romans 10:9-10). Further, the Bible makes it clear that no other path is effective in connecting with God (Acts 4:12).
As to homosexuality, it is destructive - in terms of relationship to God and continuance of the the human race. God gave a directive to man, "fill the earth" (Genesis 1:28, Genesis 9:1, and Isaiah 45:18).
Regarding a relationship with God: He states that it is detestable (Leviticus 18:22).
Regarding the human race (as a species): Other than a heterosexual union, how would mankind fulfill the order to fill the earth?
God states and treats this behavior as sin, but that does not mean that God does not love the sinner who He calls to repentance.
The simple answer: get right with Jesus.

No God hates people of different sexual orientations. That's made up by Christians only.
And religion is inclusive, Jesus said to love everyone. It's the followers that cause conflict.
I am a Baha'i. a member of the Baha'i Faith. We believe there is only one God, that sent Buddha, Jesus, Moses, etc to humanity, now Baha’u’llah has come.

I don;t know of any religion that is about inclusion, most seem to be about domination by some supernatural being, and being forced to submit to that being for some reason.

It is not about inclusion. It is about control.
