Should we all just wear body cams 24/7 so we can find out who the real liars are when accusations start flying?

who needs them?

data from a 'fitbit' was just used to convict a murderer...I believe that is the third such case this kind of evidence was admitted...

as I recall, Amazon is still fighting in court against a prosecutor's subpoena for Alexa data in a murder investigation....even though they simultaneously claim that Alexa doesn't record any data other than the user's specific instructions...

I have several friends with the latest iPhones....and most have related stories about how they tend to just 'turn on' spontaneously or give search results based on words in a casual conversation...

insurance companies are moving towards giving premium discounts to people who install web-enabled cameras in their homes and cars...

who needs a big, evil state when so many are so willing to welcome 'big brother' into their homes?

Police have been known to switch off cameras or remove batteries to protect themselves.

We should revert to “innocent until proven guilty” instead of this dumb **** that we see now.

It is starting to look that way. I hope we don't become that type of society.

Recently I have been faced with how to work with female colleagues when we need to speak about issues that should NOT be public knowledge. Scares the crap out of me. I would rather be accused of murder than sexual assault.
