Trump says French riots prove him right on the "flawed" Paris climate accord?

That just came over the news wire. I do not see the connection that Trump does. What think you ?

So lower gas prices means more gas sold and more miles driven and more carbon in the atmosphere. Is that a good thing ? And Trump wants to stop supporting electric vehicles and have us drive more miles with more carbon.

He's a stupid man, the protests didn't arise because of the environmental tax it was because of where the proceeds where going.

You know he keeps saying the Paris climate accords were flawed but I've never heard him explain in detail why they were flawed, to me it was because they didn't go nearly far enough but Trump has already proven on numerous occasions that he clearly doesn't understand climate science so I'm guessing he hasn't even read them, he's just parroting propaganda from polluters.

Conservatives have the ability to manipulate absolutely anything to prove anything that they want. The fools that vote for them simply cannot see how they are being lied to.

Trump is totally opposed to the European Union, anything he can do to stir up discord and division is what he does.

Liberals would have us believe that people are happy to pay higher fuel prices to fund the latest green fad while other countries continue to pour pollutants into the atmosphere, negating any benefits from their expensive efforts.

He saw the word Paris and just went with it

What the riots seemed to be over was that the proposed tax increase was all stick and no carrot. France is largely a rural country with communities that are widely spaced apart. Many people have to drive large distances to work so a petrol tax hits them where it hurts.
