I’m 21 years old and I’ve never had a girlfriend. The reason being is that iam shy. It’s just making me feel bad because most of my friends had already been in several relationships and/or currently in one. Do girls like shy guys? What should I do to be more confident? I fear of rejection because I don’t know how to handle it and i always worry what to day to a girl cause I don’t want to say something stupid and then get all nervous.

Ive learned that there is a difference between being an introvert and being insecure. insecurities are not cute. the world can not baby sit you. It hurts everyone. because you will think that people do not like you when really people think you are showing no interest in them and thats no fun. When people say "just be yourself" they just mean laugh if you want to laugh, play if you want to play. dont think if someone else wants you to or not. Everyone will feel more comftorable.

Shy guys are adorable and personally I prefer them rather than obnoxious guys with an inflated ego.
Ik it’s 2019, but guys are still expected to make the first move. Even though I think it’s ok for girls to too, some people think that if the girl makes the first move, it’s slutty.
I suggest just strike up a conversation with a cute girl. “Do I know you? Yiu look familiar.” is a good starting line. and if it goes well, ask her out.
