Why do some Christians use the word evolutionism" instead of evolution, and why do some use "the little boom" instead of the big bang?
I know they're not the most commonly used terms, but they creep up far too often.

Was evolutionism caused by the little boom?

They can't seem to ask an intelligent, mature question about evolution, so they resort to absurdity.

This is the only place I've seen/heard "evolutionism" used. The "little boom"? Now you're just being silly.

"Evolutionism" conveys a belief system surrounding the theory of evolution similar to the way "creationism" is a belief system surrounding the theory that God created the universe. "Evolution" by itself doesn't convey the opposite to creationism like evolutionism does.
Those who use the term "creationism" shouldn't have any problem with "evolutionism", and if they do, they just show that they are inconsistent (which often is a requirement to make evolutionism appear to be true).
