Does anyone know if a Education class would count as an elective for a communications major? My advisor won’t respond to me?

Read the catalog. Read the web page for the communications program. It should say whether you can count courses from outside the department as electives.

As opposed to what? Everything that's -not- a major requirement or a gen. ed. class is an elective.
