What does it mean if a guy asks to cook for him?

Sounds like a dumb question, but I’ve been “friends” (guessing that’s the right term) with this guy for about a year, with benefits.. it’s a lot of mixed signals since he gets jealous all the time so it makes me think he likes me? anywho he always rather ME cook for him instead of eating out (which i don’t mind) but there’s nothing special with my cooking, if anything i think I’m bad lol so i wonder why he would want me to do it? I’m staring to think he’s just lazy

Casual sex with no commitments and free meals?  I think a lot of guys would kill for that.  If he gets jealous but makes no move towards a relationship, I would take it that he realises he has a good thing going and doesn't want to lose it rather than a sign of caring about you.  If he DID care, he'd be asking if you wanted to date or otherwise trying to get you into a relationship.

He certainly is lazy and he also doesn't want to be seen in public with you, suggesting he is seeing another woman, or even several other women.

I think you're right. Especially if he's low on funds.
