The fact is, it doesn’t matter whether women “want” to talk to men. The educational institution can’t legally deny you the certificate that you earned based on your gender, or race. 

That’s like allowing a black guy to take a medical class and then deny him the certificate by saying “people just feel more comfortable with Indian or white doctors, not black men, sorry”. 

It doesn’t MATTER if people would prefer a white doctor. Just as it doesn’t MATTER if women would prefer a female counselor. A school/educational institution can not discriminate based on gender or race, it’s 100% illegal.

And they especially cannot have you take the class and then deny you based on your gender.That’s sexual discrimination and it’s HIGHLY illegal. My short answer is that I recommend you get a lawyer- a conservative white one, who’s smart, good at the law and will work for you. Either male or female. It’s also fraud since they had you take the class and waste your time (and time = money) and then didn’t give you the cert you had earned, after you sat through the entire class semester. This school/counseling group (mistakenly) thinks that discriminating against men such as yourself will be “socially acceptable” in the liberal SJW mindset. But it’s actually illegal and unconstitutional. Sort of like how liberals who owned a restaurant actually tried charging white people (or was it men?) more money than they did minorities/women. (The restaurant got sued and closed down.) Liberal brainwashing is so strong that it can override common sense and make people blatantly break the law.Your best option is to get a lawyer. And make sure you call them up on various phones, so they won’t know it’s you. When they answer, say “this call may be recorded for quality and training purposes” then start recording and let them know your name and that you had applied and taken the course but nobody will allow you to pay for the class you already took bcuz they said you were a man. Say this on the line WHILE RECORDING, and see what they say. If they hang up on you rudely, make excuses, or anything else, you’ll now have documentation that they’ve refused to address the discrimination issue when confronted. If they answer but then blow you off, I recommend calling again 48 hours later. Women wouldn't want to talk to a man about rape. They'd prefer a woman, and at least they'd have somebody to talk to.  Even women have that kind of mentality. That's why male victims usually don't get the help they need. Men wouldn't talk about problems like that to anybody. They'd be forced to toughen up and move on. The system puts more effort into understanding that issue while dealing with women, not men. It doesn't know how to deal with the problem when its a man subjected to such things. Usually made even worse because of his pride stopping him getting help as well.  In those situations, male victims are told to let go of their pride, and pretty much instantly the system totally disregards the males mentality, wanting it to be exactly like a woman's. Excluding men from fixing such a problem is wrong in ways, as men do have sisters, mothers, grandmothers girlfriends, female friends in their life, as well as its also wrong to exclude men from their own version of support if they are the victim. Rape is also a human issue in that women can rape women, men can rape men, women can rape men, and men can rape women. It's not only "men can rape women". If you weren't given the certificate and they didn't accept payment, it sounds like you were not considered suitable to be a counselor.
Not everyone has the right qualities to do such a job.

Get an ordinary job and get on with your life but if you really want to help, maybe donate regularly to a women't refuge or a related charity?...Show more
