Why are Christians and Muslims such divided communities?
They have countless branches and they kill non-stop their own fellows just because of a slight difference of belief. Such communities are everything but united.

Don't you think it's incredibly shameful for them?

You obviously have no real knowledge of what you are writing about.
There is one almighty issue that divides these 2 communities - it is, "Who is Jesus Christ"? If they believed in the same Jesus, there could be no diametric opposition. All over the world, in every group of people, in every faith group, it is the question of who Jesus really is that causes division. I offer no excuses for Christians killing others, in the name of their religion, for Christ condemned that. "If my kingdom was of this world, my followers would have fought, but now my kingdom is from another place." John 18:36. And Jesus commanded Christians to love their enemies and to pray for those persecuting them. You'd be surprised how many do.
