How do you understand what you are voting for on the voting machine (in USA)?

My first time voting in 2012 is hard. They didnt give me a "voter IQ" comprehension exam before they gave me my voters license. (no "exam" like a drivers license needs). I thought i was vlting for president. but i voted randomly yes and no on the tax laws and random candidates for mayor, sheriff, governor, and any other authorities listed. K

There is NO SUCH THING as a voter IQ exam OR a voter's license.

If you are so ignorant you don't know how to find out who is running for which office, do yourself and the world a favor and don't waste your time voting.

What did you with the literature that was mailed to you before the election or that was in the newspaper that showed all of the candidates and their qualifications and explained all of the proposals?

It's easy for me because I'm informed and have common sense.
You need to be escorted to the polls by whoever is in charge of you.
