To the left, the government is the answer to every problem. And yet they clearly recognize the incompetence of the government in nearly every situation. They're on here bitching about the government all the time!
Or do they believe that only the left will be in charge and so the government will be efficient, economical and competent?

No. The left is critical of the government's response to Ebola but it is not critical of the US government and its response. The left blames the government, but the difference is the government is not making decisions about health care policy. However, the fact is, it is up to you, the citizen, to make health care decisions for yourself. If you vote the government in to run healthcare, it should ensure that the quality of care is better. Instead, we have seen declining standards for years, most often forced on uninsured citizens by the federal government.
